What can we learn from a frog?1 minutes read

Do you remember the story of the frog in the kettle with water?

It goes that if you throw a frog into a kettle with boiling water, the frog jumps away from it, but if you put the frog in when the water is cold and then warm up the kettle, the frog will stay in there, ultimately dying in the boiling water.

One of the master techniques of personal development is to use the errors you witness on others to reflect upon how you do that yourself. The frog story has something to tell us, but instead of me telling you, I want you to say to yourself:

  • Do you have fun doing what you mainly do with your days?
  • Do you even remember why you started to walk in the direction you are heading?
  • Is it now a good time to leave the water before it starts to boil?

Or is it necessary for you to NOT have fun with the things that you do? What can you do to bring joy back into your life before it bitters you up?

Look, if you don’t have fun doing something, and this something is the center of your life, I strongly suggest you take a serious look into your life right now.
